A warm West Cumbrian welcome to our website.  The club has been running for nearly 100 years and we're all very enthusiastic about enjoying the marvellous world famous Lake District that is on our very own doorstep.  We have an extensive walk programme throughout the year - yes we walk whatever the weather, covering week days and weekends.  We're also fairly unique in that every fortnight we have a private coach hire which allows us to forget about parking issues and enjoy longer linear walks and maybe a well deserved drink at the end.   We're officially called "Workington Rambling Club" (aka "Workington Ramblers") but we welcome everyone and have a large contingency of walkers from Cockermouth too.   So if you love walking, love the Lake District we'd love you to come along with us -   Join Us.
